The Ardmore Initiative believes that People Achieve More in Ardmore!  Help us to honor the best and brightest in our town by nominating your favorite business, person, or organization for one of our annual awards, to be given at our 11thAnnual Leadership Breakfast and Stakeholder Meeting on March 19, 2019.   The awards and criteria are as follows:

The Charles F. Ward Service to Ardmore Award  is presented to the person whose efforts and good works have impacted the Ardmore community in meaningful and significant ways. The award is intended to honor someone whose attributes emulate those of Charlie Ward, past President of Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners and Founding Chairman of the Ardmore Business District Authority, the Ardmore Initiative, in whose name this award is made.

The Community Bright Spot Award recognizes an Ardmore business or organization for an appealing, appropriate and eye-catching facade renovation or creative window dressing or for providing a welcoming gathering place.

The Shining Star Award recognizes a person, business or organization, which has left you with a positive impression. Does a favorite business keep convenient hours? Remember your name? Provide great customer service? Is there a business owner who “gets it” and supports his/her community? Does the business or organization cooperate with various community events? Do you find yourself recommending this business time and time again? Is there an organization that consistently supports or provides services to the Ardmore community?
