Live music has always been an important part of Ardmore’s nightlife and the Ardmore Music Hall location (23 East Lancaster Ave.) is certainly a building with significant musical history. The 23 East Cabaret not only presented acts such as Phish, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, Dave Mathews Band, Blues Traveler, Hootie & The Blowfish, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joan Osborne and John Hiatt, it also played a pivotal role in the early careers of artists who went on to national prominence. In the nineties, it was Brownie’s 23 East, known as one of the top cover band rooms in the area and a popular spot with local college students. The Ardmore Music Hall, under the direction of Chris Perella and Tom Linquisdt since 2014, has continued and enhanced this tradition – launching Ardmore into the national spotlight with popular music festivals, events, and the non-stop booking of incredible talent.

The most anticipated event on the AMH calendar is Live from the Lot, an outdoor music festival that transforms the Ardmore SEPTA parking lot into a funky dance celebration for an entire weekend. This Friday, May 20th- Sunday, May 22nd, Live from the Lot is back for a second year featuring two stages with nonstop jazz, soul, and funk music from both national and regional artists.

“We are so happy to bring back our Live from the Lot festival to Ardmore,” said Chris Perella, co-owner of the Ardmore Music Hall. “Here at AMH we celebrate music everyday and are excited to bring these incredible artists to the Main Line!”

Live from the Lot is an all ages, family-friendly event, excluding the kickoff and after parties which are 21+ only. Combo and single-day ticket options are available, as well as general admission and VIP options. A complete list of scheduled performances and ticket information can be found at
